Newquay Harbour is tidal and very much a working location for fishing and pleasure boats, it provides a safe location for bathing and enjoying the sights of fishermen going about their every day business. It is also the centre for the R.N.L.I. lifeboat station which stages manoeuvres every Sunday morning, and is where the local Gig rowers launch their boats from. During the summer months they are out practicing most days and there are frequent competitions arranged.

From here you can walk to the beaches, surf, or have a lesson.

Take a fishing, diving, or boat trip. Visit the Rowing Club, or the Sailing Club.

Walk the Coastal Path. Visit the Blue Reef Aquarium. Go shopping or coasteering. Play golf, play bowls, play tennis, go to the cinema, or just relax on your balcony overlooking the sea.
